Both Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker wore black outfits on Friday night as they headed to the Kennedy Center in New York City to see Hadestown.
The musical revolves around mythic Greek figures named Eurydice and Orpheus. The original story centers on Orpheus’s attempts to rescue Eurydice, who is sent to the underworld.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker then went to The Polo Bar for dinner. The duo may be in town for the musician’s upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live.
Barker will be making an appearance as a special guest during Young Thug’s musical guest performance. He has graced a remix of Young Thug’s “Ski.” Earlier this week, the Poosh founder was spotted accompanying Barker to rehearsals.
Its Been A Big Month For SNL And The Kardashians
Its been an eventful month for the Kardashians and SNL. Last week, Kim Kardashian hosted the show after a week of rehearsals. The KKW Beauty founder player her sister in a sketch during the episode.
She poked jokes at the public displays of affection Kourtney and Barker have been making lately. In a sketch called, “The People’s Kourt,” Kim pretended to be her sister, expressing strong disapproval of her family’s drama.
Mikey Day, who plays Barker showed up for a little cuddling. “You’re so punk,” Day’s Barker says.
“Will you drum ‘All the Small Thing’ on my a– when we get home?” Kim as Kourtney asks, to which Day’s Barker replies, “Hands or sticks?” A source told E! News that Kourtney and Travis weren’t offended.
“Kourtney and Travis loved it,” the source said. “Kim wanted the jokes to be a complete surprise to the family.”
“The whole family was game for any and all jokes and were very supportive of Kim. None of them take themselves too seriously and didn’t want Kim or the show to hold back any punches.”
