Taking to his official Twitter handle, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson revealed that he is endorsing former vice president Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson tweeted who he will be voting for in the impending US Presidential Elections 2020. He took to his Twitter handle to reveal that he is extending his support and endorsing Democratic presidential nominees Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.
“As a political independent & centrist, I’ve voted for both parties in the past. In this critical presidential election, I’m endorsing @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris. Progress takes courage, humanity, empathy, strength, KINDNESS & RESPECT (sic),” he captioned the post.
The actor added a video to the tweet, where is seen interacting with Biden and Harris. The video starts with Johnson talking about how crucial this election is. Noting that they are about five weeks away from arguably the most critical election America has witnessed in decades.
Johnson goes on to openly endorse and talk about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, noting that he has never publicly endorsed anyone for President and Vice President before. The former WWE Superstar says, if he does, he goes big.
“Now, this is something that I’ve certainly not done in the past, so I’m gonna go big,” he adds. The Jumanji star reveals he had an opportunity to sit down with Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris to talk about important issues the United States is currently facing.
Johnson described the conversation he had with the two leaders as “extremely productive. He then went on to say that as a registered independent with centrist, he feels Joe Biden and Senator Harris are the best choices to lead America, before adding that he is “endorsing them to become President, and Vice President of our United States.”
