After months of speculations and rumors, the American tech company has officially announced the date for Apple’s big iPhone event. Apple has also revealed that its “Hi, Speed” event will be held on October 13.

The iPhone event 2020 has been taken place on a date later than usual, with the phone canceling its September launch window due to the disruptions caused to the supply and also because of the Covid-19 pandemic that led to breaking the manufacturing chain.

This new big iPhone event is going to be virtual and will take place at Apple’s owner Steve Jobs Theater on October 13 and on the same day, it will be shown live in India at 10:30 pm IST. At the event, the company is going to launch new iPhones, a brand-new Apple TV streaming box, and a smaller HomePod smart speaker.

Among all of these products, the one that everyone is looking forward to is the iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 series most probably will be accompanied by four new phones. According to the Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, there is no support for super-fast 120Hz refresh rate displays in the iPhone 12. The reason behind this is the battery life that iPhone 12 has, the company thinks that if they add 120Hz panels on this new phone then it could take a hit.

As per the reports, 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch models of the iPhone 12 will feature the same display notch that was put on the iPhone 11 models. However, there are reports saying that the 5.4-inch model will come with a slightly narrow notch, little different from the other models.

Ahead of the event, a few other details have been spread out about the phones. Recently, a known tipster, EverythingApplePro had shared a short video where it shows the iPhone 12 Pro, revealing its new LiDAR sensor and the back panel.
