90 Day Fiance star Kalani has given an update about her relationship with Asuelu who is also the father of her two sons. After having a very rocky bond on Happily Ever After, Kalani says that they both are trying their best to make things work out.
The two of them were also there on the Tell-All special, but the mother of two wasn’t even sure that will Asuelu be able to make it through. During the Tell- All, Asuelu gets up and walks away after getting angry.
Recently, Kalani had shared a photo on her Instagram page where she was posing with her two kids Oliver and Kennedy, plus her husband Asuelu. She captioned it “trying.” She has almost 605,000 followers and this picture has got nearly 100,000 likes. The post is also liked by Kalani’s sister Kolini, who is not so much with this relationship.

One of her followers commented, “No one understands what couple fights for and why they keep fighting for except for the two people fighting. Love you guys rooting for you,” one person wrote. “Beautiful family. Don’t let the haters get u down. It’s your family u do as u want.”
Kalani blasted on the fans that were talking trash for her and Asuelu because of the way they have portrayed the Samoan culture on the TV. In her reply, she says, she agreed to be on a show about relationships not educating viewers about culture.
In her Aug. post, she clarified that the relationship-centric reality show she is on doesn’t focus on the ethnography of Samoa. She went on to say that neither she nor Asuelu is obligated to spoonfeed those with ethnocentric ideologies, who watch the show only for drama.
The recently aired season of Happily Ever After revolved around Asuelu’s family, and the expectation that he will give at least $1,000 to his mother. This is part of the Samoan culture, and Kalani isn’t a stranger to it since her father is from Samoa, but Kalani and Asuelu weren’t able to give his mother enough.
At one point, she said she wanted Asuelu to divorce Kalani and didn’t even care about taking money away from her grandsons if that is what it took for her to get paid. She walked back from her comments at the Tell-All special later, but Asuelu’s sister Tammy is still angry at Kalani after she threatened to fight her.
